We are 10,000 families, representing over 100,000 vulnerable in New York State. We are united in our prolonged pandemic grief that has left us separated from caring for and connecting with our vulnerable, disabled, elderly family members who live in New York State long term care facilities.
Some Loved Ones are in Heaven, some are Covid-19 Survivors - all of them need us to speak for them. We have spent one long year waiting to care for them - as they remain isolated in their rooms.
NationalNursingHomeLetin Day
will SHED LIGHT on this cruelty happening in Nursing Home Facilities - and will acknowledge the voices of this national humanitarian crisis.

We used this image on October 14, 2020 for our
takebackournursinghomes rally,
and we use it again.
This image signifies that we hold forever in our hearts those we have lost to COVID-19 in Nursing Facilities and those who have perished from the unnecessary isolation and separation from their Personal Family Caregiver.
We acknowledge our COVID-19 survivors living in nursing facilities who have not seen their families in nearly one year.
We have not forgotten about you - we continue to march in your name.
